“A” week comes to an end….

We had a fun and creative week learning all about the letter A and apples!  We made alligators on Thurs. and then read “There’s an Alligator Under My Bed”  by Mercer Mayer today.  Every time I read the word Alligator, the children held up their gators.  Then we made “Eaten Apples” out of paper plates.  And learned a cute song to sing about them.

Apple Tree:

Way up high in the apple tree,

5 little apples smiled at me,

so I shook that tree as hard as I could,

down fell the apples….

mmmmm, they were good!

We are looking forward to what next week has in store and learning all about the letter B!
